I decided to create this page to let everyone know what I'm
doing. Any plans for adventures, and general updates about this
site or new pages can be found below:

This is the last update to the site via this webpage. From now on, all future updates will be detailed via the Site Blog. Feel free to check there for any future updates.

This is a HUGE update (if you have not seen). I got my own domain name and started moving everything over. Please excuse the mess,
and any broken links you come across. This is a big learning curve and I'm working to make everything better than it was originally. Please be patient
and feel free to contact me if you see any broken links or any comments you may have.
The past few weeks have been insane. I hit 7 different cemeteries in a week's time. Three of these
cemetaries where in Michigan, two in the Columbus area, and two in Morristown, Ohio. Not to mention, I'm
planning another visit to Egypt Valley to search for
the town of Egypt, Ohio. This will be a joint mission with Beth from Grave Addiction and
several others from her site. Needless to say, I am very excited

This was more of an update on the back end. I fixed some spelling errors, cleaned up some broken links, and modified the contact me link
from a horrific mailto tag to a nifty PHP form. I've started to dabble in PHP, and a friend of mine (who is a PHP devoloper) said I need to find projects
to learn PHP faster. This was one of those projects.

I've been slightly busy over the past few weeks. Afew weeks back I was back home and went into Egypt Valley.
I had forgotten my camera, so this was going to be a scouting mission. I visited the murder site, and as I was driving away
towards Salem Cemetary, I realized I had my cell phone.
I didn't feel like going back to take pictures so I'll have to get then next time. I did get some pictures of The Old Egypt Cemetary (Circle Cemetary) and I ventured to
find the other "End of 40". This would be the western
terminus. And speaking of US-40 in Belmont County, I finally made up a page for my Route 40 project. So far it highlights both terminuses of 40.
If that wasn't good enough, (what do you people want from me), I also started on Columbus attractions. First off is the
faux Columbus Subway entrance. I also updated the maps page.

I'm still working on the blog idea, but I've decided to start a maps section. With the advent of Google Earth, locations can be saved, and shared more easily. Not to mention I discovered the nifty churches &
cemetaries feature. Both the Salem Cemetary & the Old Egypt Cemetary (Circle Cemetary) are listed.

The next thing I'm going to try to work on is a blog on this site. I've looked into several, but being as I don't have root access or
command line access on this domain. I've found nothing that suits my needs. I'm also considering just registering a domain of my own that should give me
the ability to create a blog for this hobby.

Yeah...Yeah...Yeah... I know it's been close to a
year and a half. I finally got around to doing some work to the
site. First off I updated some info on here and added an ad thing
to each page. No worries, it's at the bottom to be as easy to
ignore as possible; while still hopefully generating some extra
cash for me.

I reorganized the pages on the site and started
adding content from my recent visit to Belmont
County. The basics of these updates are addition of pictures
to the Egypt
Vallery Page, more pictures to "The
End of 40" page, and some addational information about
the St. Clairsville page. It was during this trip that I came up
with the idea of "The
Route 40 Project".
